In this session, you will explore the skills and techniques used to create your own portrait of a happy Giraffe. Each participant will be guided step-by-step by Wildflife Artist Daren Mason, who will help them to create their own stunning giraffe portrait full of life. By the end of the session, they will come away with a beautiful painting to take home and be proud of.

About the Artist - Daren Mason

After graduating from the Norwich School of Art and Design with a degree in illustration, Daren set a studio up in London. He worked mainly as an editorial illustrator and spent 20 years freelancing for advertising agencies. Projects ranged from animation to creating murals for Swatch at Harrods and Heathrow Airport. Daren is passionate about the natural world and it provides an endless source of inspiration for his work.

On a General Note:

Designed as an introduction to knife painting, our classes are relaxed and enjoyable offering a chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun, all in a high end art gallery!

The duration of each class is 2 hours, during which refreshments will be available.

During each class you will receive step by step guidance by an established artist who will give a live demonstration and help you create your own artwork which you can then take home. All materials are included and we even do the cleaning up!

Ideal as a group activity with friends, for individuals looking to meet like-minded people or as a team building exercise for work colleagues, our classes are held in our gallery which offers a contemporary, stylish setting with comfortable seating for up to 12 people.

In all our events, there is no prerequisite for prior experience. Each class is suitable for everyone, from absolute beginners to budding artists and hobbyists.

Private Events are available for groups of between 8 and 12 people in our gallery. We also conduct private events in corporate venues with no limit on numbers. Choose any artwork from our extensive library here Events Gallery

Event Requests are considered for groups of 4 or more with over 4 weeks notice so that we have time to fill a minimum of 8 seats
