Emotional Sax – Wayne Shorter
Born in New Jersey in 1933. Wayne is a post bop, hard bop, crossover jazz, 10 time Grammy award winning tenor and soprano saxophonist having a powerfully emotive style. He recorded with Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and performed exquisite solos on Steely Dan’s Aja and Don Henley’s The End of Innocence. The Master composer… Described by The New York Times as probably jazz’s greatest living small-group composer and a contender for greatest living improviser.
