Fiona Pearce
Painter
Fiona paints from her studio, an old granary called ‘The Hen House’ in Hampshire, England. Working predominately in acrylics, she likes to paint on canvases of all sizes using as much expression as possible and normally with copious amounts of paint and energy.
Seeing the world as a series of shapes, Fiona uses electric colours to create semi-abstract local landscapes, many of which reflect the English countryside, inspired by her daily dog walks.
Her initial sketches are done on the iPad focusing on the composition and palette before translating them with a brush on to canvas. Her current collection is inspired by the local countryside and her travels in Australia, a mash up of her favourite places.
