Andrew Chambers

ICM Photographer

Andrew Chambers
Andrew is a retired jeweller of 50 years working at the bench and has made many interesting pieces, to include restoration of the Crown Jewels. He was also honoured to be made a Freeman of London. Now retired, he lives in Berkshire where he walks through the local countryside, through forest and lakes. Taking inspiration from the local area, his first images were traditional standard sharp focus pictures. He then discovered ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography and began experimenting with this style. ICM is a creative way of working with long exposure camera work and is a technique that expresses the atmosphere and emotion of the artwork. “With slow shutter speed, the world becomes a canvas and your camera becomes a paintbrush” ― Unknown
