I have attended several evening art events at R Young Art, with Daren Mason Wildlife Artist, Jean Kidwell Watercolour Artist and Richard Young himself. I have enjoyed every single one and would highly recommend doing a class at the gallery. Not only are they a great stress relief, but you are guaranteed to end up with a lovely piece of artwork.

I had such a great experience with the Richard Young Gallery. I brought a very precious and old painting all the way from Ghana to be framed and Richard was so thoughtful and helpful with the framing process! He really went above and beyond and treated the painting with the utmost care and attention - even helping me touch up the parts of the painting that had been a little roughened through travel. The gallery has a 10/10 customer service , fair pricing, a great selection of frames and boarding services, and honestly a level of care and attention I don't think you'll find elsewhere.

He restored a damaged poster for me of over fifty years old that is of great sentimental value to me , he removed the age lines, condensation marks and fitted a beautiful frame with invisible glass.
He also mounted and framed a valuable promotional record to match others in my collection

Just loved the evening. Was a lot of fun. Loved the painting techniques we used and loved the end result. Will definitely be back to do the Kingfisher in July.

I really enjoyed the paint night. Lisa was very professional and informative. She kept us all calm and encouraged us all along. She was super organised and the class was well stocked with brushes and paints. Even though I cannot draw a stick man I walked out of there feeling quite talented.

Painting classes at this local gallery in the heart of Wokingham have re-ignited my love of art and are helping to bring balance back to my life. Everyone helping to run the classes couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. And the teaching is a joy: instructive, encouraging, positive, and inclusive. Already working out which will be the 3rd class to take - so much to choose from!

I just wanted to say your exhibition at our hospital is absolutely beautiful. As well as admiring it myself, I have seen so many people (staff, patients and visitors) just captured and absorbed by the beauty of your work.

Another fabulous couple of hours spent painting. This time a pop art cow. A wonderfully indulgent time with the paints and brushes and your own masterpiece at the end. Would highly recommend.

Mr Richard Young is one of the huge art talents of our times and as an artist I look up to him. His masterpieces will not leave you cold for he has an excellent eye for the colours, the composition and the beauty of the subject.

Richard is a passionate, patient and meticulous artist - his work is dramatic and vibrant - just beautiful. He deserves recognition and acclaim not only for his art but as a teacher and for being a jolly good, all round chap.

I fell in love with Richards Tango dancers first a long time ago. As a Tango dancer I see many pieces that don't have the positions correct or the body angles right. His have everything and show the passion and emotion behind the dance. Having watched his style evolve over time I have yet to see a picture I don't like but I do love Last Day of Summer!

Attended the Back to Black evening and honestly one of the best evenings I've had..loved the technique of using only pallet knives.. Richard is such a good patient teacher & his assistant (sorry didnt catch your name) was so sweet and helpful.. I shall be booking more evenings!

Richard young art gallery in Wokingham is a fairly new but lovely boutique gallery. I recently had something framed and it looks lovely. Richard took time to explain and demonstrate a variety of different frames. I will definitely be using them again. A fab selection of artwork for sale & I may consider one of their painting evenings. I would say a hidden gem!

What is there to say! Well Richard took an old photograph in very bad shape (torn, folded, part of image missing and scanned it, photoshop repaired it and then had it printed onto a metal plate for us to hang on the wall. Fantastic service.

Richard Young is a very talented artist. The quality and detail in his work is incredible. Although his website provides high quality images - photos and websites simply can not do justice the work that he produces. It is stunning.
