Dance Seclusion

Alone, in the solitude of her secret medieval hideaway in Jaffa, Israel, her elegant poise softly illuminated by a single light, Kristen is in ‘Dance Seclusion’…

Produced in cooperation with Ballet Met, Will shively and Tomer Jacobson (Thanks Jennifer, Will and Tomer)

Painted entirely with a knife. A high level of contrast is provided and the colours made extremely rich, bold and lustrous, thus creating a very contemporary feel overall.

It’s a large, very dramatic, passionate, emotive, moody and atmospheric figurative dance painting that would not look out of place as a feature in a lounge, study, office, music room, conservatory, bedroom, hall, landing or similar room and be a focal point to be proud of.

This painting will be supplied framed in a heavy, high quality Arqadia frame. Shown below is a photo of the original oil painting in a frame on the wall of my home just for display purposes… Please contact me for more details.

Contact myself for more information about this beautiful work of art, or if you would like to purchase a print. Obviously, the quality of the original painting and prints is much better than displayed here, though if you wish to make a closer inspection, please let me know of any specific area you’re interested in and I’ll e mail a higher resolution image to you.

Here’s what a wide variety of artists thought of it on Deviant Art and Red Bubble, where you can also purchase unsigned prints, posters, postcards, mugs, t shirts, coasters, stickers and jigsaws of my artwork.

And if you like this painting, PLEASE share it with your friends
