Open Edition Artist's Prints:

The 'Open Edition Artist's Prints' are produced by myself 'on demand' using my professional Epson Stylus Pro 7880 wide format printer on the highest quality Epson 350gsm heavyweight Premium Satin poly/cotton (65/35) water resistant art canvas at a high definition 2880 x 1440 dpi and using UV resistant 9 colour 100% pigmented inks guaranteed lightfast for 75 years. This canvas has a glossy surface and may be stretched for framing if required. I can also print on heavyweight Hahnemühle (or equal) fine art paper if required and subject to the quantity of prints. Each print is individually reproduced, QC examined and passed by myself to authenticate its origin and verify its quality. Please see the Originals & Prints page for further details. Print prices are uniform, depending only upon size. Although all artwork is shown in my galleries in the colours created, I can produce prints in black & white should this be preferred. Please contact me for details. They are generally supplied unframed to save on shipping costs, though frames can be provided at an extra cost if required.

The price depends only upon the print size required, not the price of the original artwork. Standard sizes are offered as specified within each artwork page and generally as summarized in the table below, though custom sizes are available upon request. Why not invest in a simple but perfect gift or present for someone special, and much more individual and personal than a cheap poster or print of a photograph?

By default, I do sign each print and write the title in paint or permanent ink so as not to fade. This is done in either black, white, gold or silver as appropriate, placed within the borders of the artwork image at the footer and the title is centred whilst my signature is to the right. I can also sign using a different medium and write specific personalized messages such as "For XXXXXXXXXX from the Artist - Richard Young" for example, upon request, though I don't do dedications so please don't ask.

Please note that I have just changed to printing on canvas by default, which is much more expensive than paper. To the left is a scan of a print, to give you an idea of the print quality. Please select to open a higher resolution image, though please excuse the reflected light on the surface of the print. However, I have temporarily maintained prices as they have been for the past few years, though I will shortly have to make a modest price increase I am afraid...

Though all artwork is shown in my galleries in the original colour, I can produce prints in black & white or other monochrome format should this be preferred. Custom sizes of prints can also be produced upon request, though either one of the dimensions must be 60 cm or less. Also, I am able to print on other mediums, such as photo paper or matt paper, though a minimum order quantity may be necessary and the price may also be different, for which details are available on request.

However again, I'm presently seeking agreement with a suitable Publisher to handle reproduction and distribution rights for selected artwork...

I'm also interested in the possibility of licensing reproduction rights for certain artwork for printing on other supplementary materials, should any Publishers, Licensees, Agents or manufacturers be interested.
