Description:

The mask is painted in semi transparent white paint, slightly thickened to emphasis light, with mask colour totally omitted to emphasise shade, over an abstract black and gold background which was painted with a knife, thus creating a very contemporary feel overall.

It's only a small painting, but it produces a dramatic eye catching effect.
